The Young Adult Ministry {YAM} Thursday, July 2nd 6:15 pm in the Parish Hall Ages 19-35 years old.
The Young Adult Minstry is a parish-based community of young adultsm who seek to draw closer to Christ and his Church through prayer, friendship, discussion, study, and service. In addition to monthly gathering, we come together for a wide range of events to include: social events, liturgies, service opportunities, athletic events, outdoor trips, retreats, and conferences. New members form St. Matthew Parish and beyond (single, married, Catholic, non-Catholic) are always welcome to join us for any gathering or event. The monthly gatherings consist of 3 portion. Section times are as follows: 6:15- 7:00 p.m. Prayer
7:00-8:00 p.m. Teaching (by guest speaker), discussion, and finger foods
8:00 p.m. Social Outing.

TraditionIt is through the Sacred Scripture and Tradition that God reveals Himself and His ways. Christian revelation is contained in Scripture and Tradition. Tradition is the process by which divine revelation, coming from Jesus Christ through the apostles, is communicated and unfolded in the community of the Church. Jesus Himself has entrusted His mission and message to His disciples and has given them the guarantee in the fulfillment of their task. So He made the living Church the medium through which His saving message should reach mankind: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations ... and I am with you always to the close of age” (Mt 28:19). St Matthew Divine Mercy meets on The First Monday of Every Month at 3:00PM All are welcome to join us. |
