Text Box: the Lord! She helps Ana Cooper and Sylvia Hijar with decorating the Church for all Sundays and special events and Feast Days. Alice is active in the Divine Mercy adoration which means she meets with other members on the first Tuesday of each month to pray the chaplet. She also has a Divine Mercy hour at her home on every other Wednesday. The Legion of Mary is another organization which benefits from Alice's time. She and others take communion to nursing home residents every Friday and they stay to say the Rosary with them. Alice is also a lector at Mass and a member of the Women's Auxiliary.

Text Box: Alice Frasano was born in Puerto Rico but grew up on Brooklyn. She and her husband Jerry, moved from New York to El Paso in 1994 because of Jerry’s job. What a change! They first lived in queen of Peace Parish but after three years moved here to St Matthew. Alice says Sister Rosita was responsible for getting her involved in volunteer work at the parish. First of all, Alice comes to the church every morning at 7:00 to open up with Barbra Driscoll. She and Barbra straighten the book cases and pick up what ever has been left in the pews. She then spends the time until 9:00 Mass reading her prayers. Alice says she loves
