Jesus Loves You Always! No Matter What!

Margaret and Ernie are long time members of St. Matthew parish. Ernie has been coming here since 1965,  Just imagine all the changes he has seen! Margaret, who comes from Las Cruces, has been with us for the past seven years.

Early on, Ernie was part of the Police Department and then went to work for First financial Bank as head of security. After that, he joined the US Marshall Service and continues to work there now. He is a Court Security Officer.

At St. Matthew, Ernie is the coordinator of the ushers at Mass. You will find him at every 8:00 am Mass on Sunday taking care of business. He especially enjoys asking families to participate by taking up the gifts before Communion.

Ernie would like to comment on how meaningful the ACTS retreat was for him. He initially resisted, as so many do, but was convinced to go after all. He can't say enough good things about the experience. It has brought him closer to God in so many different ways. He now prays the Rosary daily!

Margaret hopes to go on a retreat soon so she can share in this wonderful opportunity
